Objective of the project

There is a strong demand in Romania for learning from the Dutch experience in housing management and integrated urban planning to support urban regeneration. The objective of the project, therefore, is to contribute to the long-term improvement of the living conditions in the urban areas in Romania by initiating the process of urban regeneration and improving the housing conditions. The goal is to increase the capacity of homeowners’ associations, their representatives and municipalities in Romania in sustainable housing management and integrated urban planning.

Target groups
The key targets groups in this project are :

• Homeowners associations of multi-apartment buildings (HOA).
• Regional and national representatives of HOAs
• Local municipalities and the Association of Romanian Municipalities.
